From the moment Pauline and Luca went to afternoon tea at The Orangery at Kensington Palace, Pauline knew it was where she wanted to have her wedding.

Pauline, who is French, and Luca, an Italian, have both lived in London for many years and they have a beautiful son together. They wanted to create a chic wedding, with many warm and intimate touches to ensure their 120 guests from around the world experienced a very special wedding day.

As two busy professionals, they also wanted to hire a wedding planner to assist them to create their wedding day. So, after booking the venue and the church, the next supplier they booked was Stylish Events.

“Dominique really tried to make sure that every single aspect of our wedding was going to be as smooth as possible for us so that we could enjoy our big day.  Not only did everything go perfectly and on the day we had nothing to think about apart from living the event, but Dominique and her team managed to turn all the preparation work in a series of meetings which became very enjoyable and special moments in the run up to our wedding.

We were very sad to see the last meeting gone. What is the “difficult” part of getting married, the organisation, it became something to enjoy, to look forward to and so for us the “big day” was the wedding together with a long period of special moments in the run up to it which we will never forget.

Dominique for us will not only be linked to quality, but also to the magic to be able to make every necessary thing to be done around the event, something to enjoy and look forward to. She was our angel for this special moment in our lives.”

Thank you to the fabulous Kate Nielen for providing these beautiful images of the day.

Fran and Gary were married on a lovely spring day in May 2016 at the stunning Down Hall Country House Hotel.

From the very beginning Fran and Gary knew they wanted a wedding full of fun, laughter, love, family and friends. They invited 120 guests to the ceremony and dinner and then another 100 guests joined them for the party in the evening.

When Fran and Dominique first met ten months before the wedding, her brief was always clear, she wanted a “WOW” wedding, so together they designed every detail of this amazing, bespoke, sparkly and utterly gorgeous wedding.

“Well, were do I start!. There are no words to convey mine and Gary’s thanks for the most superb job that you and your team did on creating our perfect day. It couldn’t have been more wonderful and we will cherish those precious memories of our day forever.

From the very start my brief to you was that I wanted a WOW wedding. Well, I lost count on the amount of times I said “wow” on the day. There is no doubt in our minds that our dream wedding would not have happened without your meticulous planning, attention to detail, amazing organisation and your fabulous team who I know worked so hard in both the planning and the execution of the day.

Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom on our hearts.”

Thank you for our wonderful photographer on the day, Craig Mitchell Photography

Our lovely clients, Leila and Johnnie, had a romantic, fun and very sunny wedding in Cambridge in June 2014. The wedding festivities actually took place over two days and involved six different venues.

Johnnie and Leila had always planned to do things a bit differently and were determined not to have a “cookie cutter” wedding. Early on in their plans they knew they wanted to hire a wedding planner and we were so thrilled to get the call from them. We assisted them to find their perfect venues, book all their wedding suppliers and manage the two wedding days.

“We wanted to say one more huge thanks to you all. The two days were perfect in every way. Everything lived up to and exceeded our expectations, and we both know it wouldn’t have come close without all the hard work you did.

If there is ever anything we can do for you, if you need any testimonials or references just let us know. We are your biggest fans! :)”

Huge thanks to our wonderful photographer Kate Nielen for the amazing images.

Anna and Michael designed an elegant and romantic summer wedding at the beautiful Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire. They found us as their wedding day was getting closer, and wanted our help to recommend suppliers, assist with the design and to ensure the whole day ran exactly how they wished it to be.

Working closely with this incredibly organised Russian bride and her German groom, we assisted them to design and plan the wedding in an amazing jam-packed 8 weeks together.

“Dear Dominique, Becca, Marina and the team at Stylish Events! We were so lucky to have found you. You created the most perfect wedding day for us.  You were very hard working, professional, courteous and kind. Your positive attitude was infectious. Your creative thinking was inspirational. We especially appreciated your attention to detail, responsiveness (even over the weekends and late nights) and your cost effective solutions to our ideas. We felt so comfortable to entrust you with organising our special day. We are forever grateful.”

Thank you to the our photographers on the day, Jonny Cochrane & Morgane Bonnet-Layat at M&J Photography Ltd, for these lovely images

Anne and Dean were married in a stunning Catholic Church in June 2015. We were delighted to assist them to design, plan and style their lovely wedding for 120 of the their family and friends.

Anne is originally from the Philippines and Dean is from Ireland, so we were asked to include many touches that celebrated their cultures, including "Tinikling" and "River" dancers. They had a gorgeous cake from one of London's best cake designers, Elizabeth's Cake Emporium, the tablescape was from the Essex Occasions Company. We were honoured to be asked to decorate the gorgeous Church and do all the wedding day stationery ourselves.

Huge thanks to our wonderful photographer, Sergio de Riccardis, for these lovely images

Anna and Luke had a classic, elegant and chic winter wedding. The ceremony was held at the beautiful St Mary’s Church, The Boltons and was followed by an evening reception at the fabulous Connaught Hotel, Mayfair.

Working closely with the bride, her mother and the groom, who all had superb taste, we designed this wedding together from start to finish in four months. Guests were transported to The Connaught by coach whilst sipping champagne and were greeted with a jazz band (Booth Street West) and a champagne drinks reception, followed by a delicious dinner in the stunning art deco Mayfair Ballroom. With gorgeous floral centrepieces (Chantal Flores Design), chic service wear from the Connaught, a macaron pyramid (Maison Ladurée), a four tier cheese tower (Churchmouse Cheeses), elegant Chandelle chairs (Great Hire), white LED dance floor, lighting and great music (Mighty Fine Entertainment). This wedding truly was the epitome of understated elegance.

"A huge thank you to you and the girls for all of your help in organising the best day of our lives!! It couldn't have been any better and it is a day we will cherish forever XXX."

Working with the most delightful couple, we had an intense two months designing every aspect of this spectacular wedding at this amazing venue together. Every detail was thought about and we were so blessed to have clients who had such exquisite taste.

Clare and Patrick wanted their 65 guests to feel that they were at an intimate, splendid dinner party; with stunning floral designs (Pinstripes and Peonies), hand- picked tableware, a five course dinner (Absolute Taste) with a substantial wine list selected by the bride and groom using our favourite independent vintner Giles Smith Walker, they were certainly treated to an amazing reception. After dinner a 10 piece band (The White Keys) played until midnight, followed by the DJ (Stylish Entertainment) until 2.00 am.

"Dominique and her team were truly outstanding. We are hectic city professionals and the level of organisation, commitment, understanding and knowledge from the team made our wedding not only possible but a wonderful success! Cannot praise them enough, not just our planners but now our lifelong friends!”

We first met Lyndsey and Kayyor nine months before their wedding. They decided on our “On the Day” package as they wanted to design their wedding and make the arrangements themselves.

We started working with them eight weeks before the wedding and helped bring it all together and co-ordinate their two day spectacular wedding weekend.

Day 1 – The Olde Bell, Hurley

The Olde Bell, in Hurley, is an historic barn that sparkled with elegant, rustic charm. The ceremony was followed by an intimate banquet dinner for close family and friends and a party with music from the Dapper Dudes, fun with magician Etienne and a fabulous three tier ‘cake made of cheese’ from Churchmouse Cheeses.

As a special treat, the ladies (and some men!) had their hands adorned with henna art for the following day.

Day 2 – Hedsor House, Buckinghamshire

On the second day of their wedding adventure, the atmosphere became a riot of colour and spectacle. At the opulant Hedsor House, they had a Hindu wedding ceremony full of spiritual symbolism underneath a stunning mandap built Jay & I Events, amazing food from Rhubarb, music and dancing (Bollywood et al) provided by Mighty Fine, a photo booth from Groovy Booth and spectacular flowers from Chantal Flores Design.  The 170 guests were asked to come in traditional Indian dress, which made the whole day so special and colourful.

This was without doubt a fantastic wedding and one of our all time favourites. The un-seasonal snow, which at first appeared a challenge, made the day even more magical. It was such a pleasure to work with this lovely couple.

“Stylish Events really understood and helped us in creating our wedding. We wanted a two day English and Indian wedding day and for the two days to be completely different.  They were instrumental in making sure this happened and our guests and family from all over the world had an absolutley fabulous time!”

Alisha and Brian invited 70 family and friends from the UK to join them at their wedding at the Rose Hall Hilton Resort, in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Working with Alisha for 18 months, we designed every aspect of the wedding together. Just about every design element of the wedding; from the styling, table decor and printed materials, was bought in the UK and transported to Jamaica – in our suitcases! Dominique was lucky enough to be asked by Alisha and Brian to travel to Jamaica with them to oversee the wedding and ensure that it was exactly how they wanted it to be. It was a great honour to be involved in this very special wedding in a magical place.

"We would like to thank Dominique and her team for organising such an amazing wedding in the Caribbean, we can’t praise you enough for all the work you have done. You are now a lifelong friend of both of us."

Sophie and Tom had a Jewish Ceremony and Reception at the Kensington Roof Gardens on a lovely summer’s day. They invited 100 guests to join them for a lavish garden party which culminated in a spectacular fireworks display. Amongst the many special touches were mini-statues of the Bride and Groom dressed in their wedding attire. As Sophie is a florist this was the perfect venue for her.

“We all had such a magical day and all your planning and organisation of the wedding was incredible.”

Emma and Manuel designed an elegant wedding in beautiful Tuscany in an historic castle, Castello di Modanella. 120 guests travelled to Italy for a 4 day event and enjoyed the wonderful food and wine of the region. As well as the wedding arrangements Dominique was involved in the travel, accommodation and the many events over this dream week. This event was a joint venture with the fabulous Italian wedding planner, Giulia Bono (www.giuliabono.it).

Jenny and Colin were married in the grand Gladstone Library at One Whitehall Place. One of the main attractions of this venue was the beautiful staircase, which is the largest free-standing staircase in Europe. The 120 guests were treated to a hearty feast and an amazing cake (from Choccywoccydooddah), which perfectly matched Jenny's beautiful dress. After dinner a 10 piece soul band got everyone up dancing, followed by a late night buffet.

“Our friends and family now call you ‘Diamonique’ because you are such a gem. It has been such fun working with you over the last year. Thank you for everything Dominique.”

Hannah and Giles invited over 200 guests to their ceremony at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle on a beautiful September day. After the ceremony they travelled by horse and cart to the reception at Lilliebrook Manor. Guests first enjoyed canapés and a barn dance in the 18th Century barn, followed by a grand dinner of pig roast and fine wine in an opulent marquee. After dinner we were entertained by an Abba tribute band and a 10 minute firework display.

“It was the best day of our lives. Thank you so much for everything Dominique.”

Brigitte and Dominic created an exotic, Latin themed wedding at the fabulous Lansdowne Club in Mayfair. Everything at their wedding was completely bespoke – from the invitations, the eclectic latin themed menu and cake, amazing desserts (from all over South America) to the magnificent flowers by Matthew Dickinson Flowers. Brigitte’s dress was designed and hand-made by The State of Grace. Over 100 guests enjoyed a truly unique evening – the cocktails flowed and the dancing continued late into the night.

"We had the most wonderful day in our living memories. Thank you ever so much for helping us create this event. Everything was just perfect and there is no doubt in our minds that it would not have happened without you!
